Centralized control of railway points and signals through a station control panel and relay-based interlocking.
Panel interlocking allows the station master to operate track points and signals from a centralized control panel. Electrical circuits and relays check the required conditions before a signal can be cleared, helping prevent conflicting train movements.
The system replaces manual lever frames with panel controls and indications. Point detection, track occupancy and route locking work together so that a movement is permitted only when the required safety conditions are satisfied.
